It’s hard to know how to fight racism in America when you don’t know what and when to fight.

Some might argue that institutionalized racism in America still exists, pointing to lack of affirmative action and hiring practices. This is also a difficult issue because affirmative action is essentially a type of discrimination in itself, a positive kind. It chooses students based on race and potentially gives positions to less-qualified candidates.
